Mark Morales
Attorney At Law

Mark Morales has been representing the accused for more than 17 years. He is a Williamson County native who began his career as an Assistant District Attorney after graduating from the Texas Tech School of Law in 2001. In his lengthy career, he has been honored by many awards and recognitions. Mark was nominated by his peers then selected by Thompson Reuters and featured in Texas Monthly magazine as a SUPER LAWYER in 2016 & earlier in his career as SUPER LAWYER, RISING STAR. Mark has spent the majority of his career, defending clients accused of crimes. Now he considers himself blessed to help fight for your loved one's freedom on parole.

Arlette Martinez
Senior Paralegal Administrator

Arlette Martinez is a paralegal in the Parole and Family Law practice. Arlette assists with all aspects of the firm’s Parole and Family Law practice, including case management and office management. She assists with all aspects of a transactions and case management with due diligence review, analysis and resolution of tasks, and all while being detailed and organized. She is the friendly voice that you will hear pick up the phone or greet you in person.

Prior to joining the firm in January of 2017, Arlette worked in the administrative industry as a Business Manager at Texas State University.

Arlette received her bachelor’s degree from Texas State University in Public Administration. She is a member of the Williamson County Bar Paralegal Association. She is a woman of faith and truly feels that the firm is a blessing to her and others and looks forward to encouraging others in their journey.

In her spare time, Arlette enjoys spending time with her family and beloved Shih Tzu, Daisy!

Peter Lopez
Partner

Peter Lopez is Managing Partner in the Family Division at Mark Morales & Associates. Peter practices criminal defense and family law exclusively to help people in their time of greatest need. For almost 20 years, his clients have trusted him with those things most precious to them: their families and their futures.

He is a 1996 graduate of Southwestern University and attended Texas Tech University School of Law where he graduated in 1999. He was licensed to practice law in the State of Texas in 2000.

In 2015, after completing over 40 hours of training, he was certified as a mediator, and after completing an additional 27.25 hours of family law mediation training, he was certified as a family law mediator in 2016. He is also the author of the ebook 20 Questions: Arrested for DWI in Texas published in 2015.
